Founded in 2009, Franone Mining is a rapidly growing mining company headquartered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. With over 13 years of expertise in the mining industry, we have established ourselves as a leading producer of colored gemstones, particularly Tanzanite and Spinel. Our operations are primarily focused in the Mererani and Mahenge districts, renowned for their rich deposits of these precious stones.

Since our establishment, Franone Mining has acquired primary licenses and developed five mining operations. Our current activities are centered on the Mererani Tanzanite mine (PML NO), which features a modern and well-mechanized shaft, the deepest decline in the area, extending 1.2 km deep and with exploration and development tunnels reaching about 2 km.
